I. Purpose.

While we aim to make products for everyone and everybody, Venerable Aubert Herbals is run by our growing Catholic family that strives to live our faith and values in all of our endeavors, including our business. While there is no Statement of Faith or Statement of Values you need to sign onto in order to be a part of our affiliate program, we take pride in our brand, and we have some rules to protect it.

II. Policies

First, some basic ground rules:

Venerable Aubert Herbals, the mortar and pestle design, any Venerable Aubert Herbals logos, and other marks we use are our trademarks (or simply, “marks”). The appearance, layout, color scheme, and design of the Venerable Aubert Herbals site are part of our protected trade dress. These are all Venerable Aubert Herbals’ intellectual property, and you may not use them without our prior written permission.

If we think that your use of our property is in violation of any of our legal terms or these policies, or if we feel that your use isn’t in Venerable Aubert Herbal’s best interests, we can revoke your right to use our property at any time.

Of course, we understand that as an affiliate, you will need to link to our site and, possibly, republish our images or reference our text content. As long as you follow the policies below, you’ll be just fine: 

First, use of our intellectual property is chiefly governed by our affiliate program Terms and Conditions, although the following policies apply as well.

If you want to use our marks and logos outside the scope of the affiliate terms and conditions, or in a way that implies we endorse, sponsor or approve of your services or products, you will need to seek written permission from us by emailing us HERE.

If you need logos, pictures, our artwork, etc. in order to better promote your affiliate link, please drop us a line HERE and let us know what you need so we may provide it to you. Please don’t just grab things off the website. If you feel you need to make any substantive changes to our marks, please let us know and we will approve any such changes on a case-by-case basis. Otherwise, you may not alter any intellectual property we provide you with. 

Your use of our marks and intellectual property, including your affiliate link, should not suggest any sponsorship or endorsement by us of you or any product(s) or service(s) you may provide, and shouldn’t confuse our brand with any other brand(s). This means that you can’t place our marks and logos on your website unless you receive written permission from us. Don’t worry, this isn’t hard…just drop us an email or message us on Facebook!

This also means that you can’t use or register a domain name that incorporates or is similar to our trademarks.

Please also don’t do any of the following:

• Market our products outside the United States of America. We cannot ship products outside the United States due to the varying legal framework in each country regarding CBD.
• Market our products in any U.S. State or Territory that prohibits the use, possession, or use of CBD products.
• Make claims that our products are intended to treat or cure any disease or illness in violation of FDA rules and regulations and applicable State and Federal laws, rules, and regulations (You may make reference to our own experiences and enjoyment of our products, but you cannot say things like “Venerable Aubert Herbals CBD oil cures cancer”).
• Combine any of our marks with your name, your marks, or any generic terms;
• Incorporate any of our marks into your name or logo;
• Change the color of our logo;
• Photoshop or otherwise modify our logos’
• Use old versions of our logos;
• Add words directly around the logos;
• Overlap our logo with shapes or photos;
• Associate our marks with any vulgar, obscene, indecent or unlawful material;
• Associate our marks with any material that undermines or challenges the Catholic Faith; or
• Translate our marks into other languages

You may use a Venerable Aubert Herbals brand name or product name in a referential phrase to describe that your business uses our products or offers products or services related to HubSpot, and provided:

• Your use of the Venerable Aubert Herbals mark is referential and less prominent than your own business name or brand in the rest of the description.
• Your use, mention, or reference to Venerable Aubert Herbals and/or its products does not deprecate Venerable Aubert Herbals and/or its products;
• You do not use any Venerable Aubert Herbals stylized logo, images, product icons, or other Venerable Aubert Herbals-owned graphic symbols without Venerable Aubert Herbals’ express written permission.

You may not create a Twitter handle, Facebook Page, or other social media account whose username or title could suggest affiliation with or endorsement by us.

You may not use our marks in any advertising creative or copy (digital, social, PPC or otherwise).

You may not use a trademark, domain name, or logo that is confusingly similar to our marks.
